MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF
Having received and considered the recommendation of the Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records and under the authority of Section 1552, Title 10, United States Code, it is directed that:
The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force relating to
, , be corrected to show that:
a. On 2 March 1998, he enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in the grade of Staff Sergeant (SSgt).
b. On 11 June 1998, he was relieved from his reserve assignment for the purpose of accepting an appointment as a commissioned officer on 12 June 1998.
c. His Paydate is 2 March 1998, instead of 11 June 1998.
d. His Retention/Retirement year, as reflected on his Point Credit Accounting Report Summary (PCARS), be corrected to reflect 2 March through 1 March, instead of 11 June through 10 June.
e. On 31 March 2014, he was not released from his reserve assignment due to the expiration of his mandatory separation date (MSD), but on that date, in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 USC § 14703, competent authority approved his request for an extension of his MSD through 3 March 2018.
